 Goodall's (Strawberry) Farm

Strawberries and lots of other berries including Pick Your Own, with farm shop selling delicious jam and much more!

goodalls strawberries

Strawberries have been grown on Goodall land in Lymington since Herbert Goodall started in 1912. Today, Brian and Pauline have developed the business to include a wider range of fruit and vegetables and a small family run seasonal shop selling mainly homemade and very locally made produce.

Whether you pick a glorious English summer’s day or a more typical one, you’ll discover a paradise of delectable soft fruits and during the season asparagus too, plus in the shop a multitude of home made jams, marmalade and other goodies concocted from the fresh produce, plus our own freshly baked scones.

Pick your own fruit and vegetables in a lovely setting, on a sunny south facing hillside where you could be anywhere in the English countryside. Yet you’re a stone’s throw from Lymington, and when you stand up to rest your back you can see Lymington River and the Isle of Wight from your privileged vantage point.

Keep up to date at Goodall's Facebook Page.

Directions: over the bridge across the river turn right towards and past the Ferry Terminal, round the bends, on the left nearly opposite (just before) the entrance to Macdonald Elmers Court.

A lovely thing to do - pick your own, on your own or with the family...

goodalls strawberries

A great family outing, Goodall's Strawberry Farm is a lovely place to come with the children. They learn where their fruit and vegetables come from and have a great time in the open air to run and play.

It's a beautiful spot, and we think the strawberries are possibly the best tasting in the world. Pick your own or if you're short of time there are freshly picked punnets, plus other goodies, from Pauline's Pantry!

These days strawberry picking is mainly standing up, too - so no more back ache!

Pick your own fruit from May through July - open Mon-Sat 10am-5pm, Sun 10am-4pm

Goodalls usually opens at the beginning of May under the poly tunnels – which is great because you can even pick in the rain! From then on it’s then open every day: 10am to 5pm Mon-Sat and 10am-4pm on Sundays.

It’s all very simple: take a basket from the kiosk, fill it and bring it back to weigh. Pick your own is half the price of the fruit on the counter but that’s almost not the point, picking is the part of the pleasure!

And asparagus...

We're now growing our own asparagus - come and try some during the season for this oh so special vegetable delicacy

Plus a small but perfectly stocked farm shop

The Goodall's small but perfectly stocked farm shop offers a delicious smoked trout range including pate, range of cheeses, local crab and lobster, Jenning’s fabulous bread every Friday and Saturday, homemade jams and marmalade, farm honey, asparagus and lots, lots more.

Where to find Goodall's
