Challenge yourself to walk 26, 14 or 8 miles on Saturday 18th May.
Join the Oakhaven Walk on Saturday 18th May 2024. Choose to walk one of three distances to Oakhaven Hospice, along beautiful seafront coastal paths: approximately 26 miles from Sandbanks, 14 miles from Mudeford or 8 miles from Barton-on-Sea.
Register now for Oakhaven's fundraising walk:
- 26 miles from Sandbanks to Oakhaven: £18 - NOW AT CAPACITY
- 26 miles from Sandbanks to Oakhaven including coach transfer: £30 - NOW AT CAPACITY
- 14 miles from Mudeford to Oakhaven: £15 - ENTRY STILL AVAILABLE
- 8 miles from Barton on Sea to Oakhaven: £12 - ENTRY STILL AVAILABLE
For children aged under 16 a £5 discount will apply.
Your event registration fee covers event administration and your event t-shirt. We, therefore, ask that each Oakhaven Walk participant take up the challenge to raise sponsorship. Funds raised will help Oakhaven to provide palliative care and support to patients and their families throughout the New Forest, Totton and Waterside. Oakhaven's support is provided free of charge, both at the hospice itself and in patients' homes, helping local people at the most difficult of times.

Your registration includes:
- A tech T-shirt to wear on the day (registrations after 5th April will be Oakhaven Hospice tech T-shirt rather than Oakhaven Walk tech T-shirt, size cannot be guaranteed)
- Snacks and drinks for all distances
- Lunch for those walking 26 miles
- A medal at the finish line
- A glass of fizz at the finish line (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
The Oakhaven Walk - event timings, start points and finish point
26 miles from Land and Wave, Sandbanks
- Registration 8am, walk starts 8.30am
- For those catching the coach from Oakhaven Hospice, we will be departing at 7.15am
14 miles from Mudeford Quay
- Registration 11am, walk starts 11.30am
8 miles from Beachcomber Café, Barton on Sea
- Registration 1pm, walk starts 1.30pm
All three walks finish at The Coates Centre at Oakhaven Hospice.
