The March Dining Divas will be taking place at Palais des Vaches in Exbury on Wednesday, 18th March 2026, with guest speaker Nick de Rothschild.
Arrive midday to be seated for 12.30pm. Lunch served at 1.00pm.
Scion of the famous banking dynasty, Nick graduated in History of Art from Cambridge. He was a pioneer in the video industry in the 1970s, where he made films about Exbury Gardens, and won a Gold Medal in the New York Film and Video Festival. After living in London, Nick and his wife, Caroline (also an artist), moved down to the family estate at Exbury. Here, he developed his unique style of PhotoArt, combining in-camera effects with Adobe Photoshop. During the Covid lockdown, Nick and Caroline developed their vision for an art gallery, The Palais des Vaches, created from a derelict milking parlour in the farm at Lower Exbury. Inspired by nature, Nick's prints include images of kelp washed up on a South African beach, African birds and wildlife, the blooms of Exbury Gardens, and his stunning shell series collected on the beach and completed in a makeshift studio.
