Oakhaven's Dining Divas lunches take place quarterly at great restaurants around the New Forest, always with a fabulous guest.

Oakhaven Hospice's Dining Divas lunch will be taking place at Rhinefield House Hotel on Wednesday 11th June 2025, with guest speaker Alistair Brien - celebrant and magician (and retired headmaster of Bournemouth School for Girls) at the Captain's Club in Christchurch.

Arrive at midday to be seated at 12.30 pm. Lunch will be served at 1.00 pm.

Alistair Brien is a former Headteacher of Bournemouth School for Girls, where he served with distinction for 18 years. Now, he has taken on a new role as a Celebrant, leading both funerals and weddings. Additionally, Alistair is a proud member of the Magic Circle. With his unique blend of experience and humour he is eager to share his journey as headteacher, offering his insights on the current state of education and what truly matters for our young people. There might even be a trick or two along the way!

The ticket price includes a welcome drink, 2-course meal and £7 donation to Oakhaven Hospice. If you would like to give more to Oakhaven, we welcome your donations when you purchase tickets and during the event.

With only a small proportion of Oakhaven Hospice's costs funded by government sources, every donation makes a difference, enabling Oakhaven to continue providing exceptional care, comfort and support to patients facing end of life and their loved ones, both within the Hospice itself and out in the New Forest, Totton and Waterside community.
