GET READY FOR THE GREATEST PARTY FOR DOGS THIS SUMMER
On 30th & 31st May, Burley Park will be transformed into a doggy paradise with totally unique and bonkers canine fun.
Bringing the sunshine party vibes is a pop up Beach Resort, in partnership with holiday aficionados Shorefield with palm trees, sun loungers and paddling pools with foam parties, DJ’s and a 100-piece Rock Choir.
The Naturo Healthy Hound Kitchen invites four-legged gourmets to try their paw at sausage-making, creating delicious dog pizzas and a Lady and the Tramp themed afternoon tea.
Get set for barking bingo, doggy quizzes and breed meets at the Muddy Paws Tavern Pub. Guests can also sip - or slurp - Pup-Tails at the Pop & Bark Bar (pork-star martini, anyone?)
New additions include a third diving and splash pool exclusively for petite pups, stand-up paddleboarding for dogs and a doggy skateboard park. Crowd favourites return too, from flyball, agility, lure racing, scent work, scurries and the ever-popular Barkour Adventure Playground.
Dogstival’s own Pup Art Café returns with workshops for dogs emulate Pablo Picasso’s abstract flair using peanut butter on canvas or painting with their paws. And, recognising the huge pawprint our beloved pets imprint on our hearts, Dogstival celebrates every dog who has shaped our lives, past and present with the Ladybug Art Memory Garden.
Expect street performers and comedy shows from leading festival performers and paw-tapping live music all weekend. Plus, over 130 amazing retailers to shop and sniff around.
Dogstival also recycles over 60% of their waste and reduces their carbon pawprint by around 80% switching to biofuels and solar power.
Tickets; £18 adults, 6-16yrs £10. www.dogstival.co.uk
