New Forest local Will Bradshaw along with wife Lizzie, took over The Monkey House Pub in July 2019. The popular 18th century family run pub, restaurant and B&B is one of the last standing free houses, and soon to house Lymington’s very own micro-brewery.
Will, a brewer by trade, who has worked for various breweries and pubs has long dreamed of running his own free house with a micro-brewery on site.
Will said: “We are so excited to re-open on 17th May as Monkey Brewhouse. Over the last year the pub and B&B have been fully refurbished; we have extended the dining and terrace area, and we will be adding our new brewery at the end of May. Brace yourselves for fresh from the taps pale ales, IPAs, classic English bitters, porters and lagers – pop in to see me at work!”
Will added: “Have no fear, you can expect the same warm welcome from Managers Karen Carter and Sam Pineau, and Chef Mark and his kitchen team will continue to serve all of the Monkey favourites- daily seafood and meat specials, a great selection of pub classics, and an award-winning Sunday Roast.”
Monkey Brewhouse will be welcoming guests inside and outside from 17th May, booking is advised to avoid disappointment. Will’s freshly brewed beer will be available from June/July, but in the meantime, they serve a selection of real ales, lagers, keg and cask craft beers and an extensive wine and spirit list.
Monkey Brewhouse is open Monday - Sunday: 11am - 11pm
