Welcome to The Coates Centre

For anyone in the New Forest, Waterside and Totton communities whose lives have been impacted by illness, The Coates Centre offers a safe haven to meet and share with others who understand what you are going through; where you can find support to help you cope with everyday challenges.

There’s no need for a referral or be known to Oakhaven, you can drop in anytime whether you’ve been recently diagnosed or you are living with a long term condition, perhaps you are a carer, or you are bereaved, then The Coates Centre can provide information and support.

Trained volunteers will welcome and guide you to information, offering support along with a cuppa and slice of cake via the drop-in ‘Hub’ at the Centre. You can visit whenever you wish during opening hours – call in for a drink and chat, you may want to join in with a support group or if you feel you can take part in one of the wellbeing activities, or just simply sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
