The South Lawn Hotel occupies a beautiful setting with large peaceful grounds close to the village of Milford-on-Sea and the town of Lymington. The former country house offers accommodation in 24 individually decorated bedrooms, all with en suite facilities. Guests can also enjoy spacious lounges, magnificent gardens and incomparable service from our internationally-trained staff. 

South Lawn has a large banqueting facility ideally suited for weddings. The Cornwallis Suite has an adjoining private bar and french windows leading out to the terrace and gardens. There is capacity for ceremonies for up to 110 guests and for standing receptions up to 175. South Lawn is licensed to host both civil ceremonies and civil partnerships. 

Cedar Tree Restaurant

The newly renovated and modernised Cedar Tree Restaurant (named because of the enormous cedar tree in the grounds of the South Lawn) offers a very pleasant dining environment in which thanks to generous soft furnishings it's easy to have a conversation - a rarity these days! There's always a good value daily menu (2 or 3 courses) and an extensive a la carte menu with very generous main courses and extremely good value real "puddings". The freshly cooked dishes influenced by traditional British and European cuisine with efficient yet informal service standards.

The Cedar Tree Restaurant has been extended with a fabulous marquee, creating more space for social distanced drinks and meals.
