South Baddesley is a small village in the civil parish of Boldre, located to the north-east of Lymington, the nearest town. There is a primary school called South Baddesley Church of England Primary School, a pub called the East End Arms, which is owned by John Illsley, the bass guitarist of Dire Straits, a church dedicated to St. Mary, and a golf course with pick-your-own strawberry fields adjacent.
