Lymington Golf Centre offers a wide range of golf facilities in a tranquil setting, bordered by woodland and overlooking the Solent at the southern edge of The New Forest on the outskirts of Lymington.
Whilst the Golf Centre is also the home of Walhampton Golf Club, you do not have to be a member to play at Lymington Golf Centre.
The lovely 9 hole course is open to non-members as well and you can often turn up and play, although regular member events are also held and the course can also be busy at peak times so booking is recommended. Players are also expected to be reasonably familiar with the rules of golf and to conform to accepted standards of behaviour on the course. Visitors may book up to seven days in advance - the booking number is 01590 689631.
Twilight times vary throughout the year depending on daylight hours, and the licensed clubhouse normally open from 7.30am until dusk offers light refreshments.

New Forest Adventure Golf in Lymington is an exciting new concept in mini-golf, a beautifully landscaped 18 hole miniature golf course designed by golf course architects and created by a professional golf course builder.
Although built with children in mind, it's also fun and challenging for adults. The beautifully landscaped course is a high spec 18 hole Adventure.
The 18 hole course is also a discovery of the New Forest itself including Isle of Wight ferry, Lymington and Beaulieu Rivers, and New Forest towns and villages.
The Centre is also delighted to help beginners to get into golf in an inexpensive and structured way. The club's new Professional is Matt Vineer about whom you can read more below.
Lymington Golf Centre also has a dedicated practice area with covered bays and marked yardages up to 200.
There are nets to perfect your swing and a new short game practice area which includes a brand new green and a practice bunker.
