Lymington Town Sailing Club (LTSC) offers a very wide range of sailing and social activities based in Lymington and the Solent. There are opportunities to sail all year round and a group of friendly members are just waiting to help you get on the water whatever your age or experience. From introductions to sailing to dinghy cruises and high-performance races, from yacht racing to local and overseas cruising there is something for everybody.
LTSC is located on Bath Road, next to the Lymington Seawater Baths, facing out onto the Solent and the Lymington River. The club has a popular bar and restaurant serving high-quality food as well as hearty club favourites.
In 2023, LTSC was announced as the Winner of the RYA and Sailing Today with Yachts & Yachting Club of the Year, supported by Gallagher. RYA Club of the Year is a prestigious award that recognises the outstanding achievements of sailing clubs' continued and dedicated efforts from their esteemed and hardworking club members across the UK. The club was praised for its holistic vibrant model for a modern sailing club that will lay a strong foundation for the future.
The club's main focus is its sailing programme. Racing is run by club members and takes place every Sunday throughout the year, plus on Wednesday evenings during the summer months.
LTSC provides training in both sailing and powerboating - both on and off the water. The club has a number of highly trained instructors to deliver these courses. Training runs on a weekly basis every Saturday and Sunday.
During the school holidays, LTSC runs 5-day sailing camps for children aged 7 and above (Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm)
LTSC has a policy of openness and offers membership to anyone with a love of sailing regardless of skill or experience. If you’d like to have a look at the club, call the office on 01590 674514 or email
