Hordle is a village and civil parish in Hampshire, bordered by the towns of Lymington and New Milton. Similar to many other parishes in the New Forest, Hordle has no village centre. The parish includes the hamlets of Tiptoe and Everton, and part of Downton. Hordle village has several shops, including a post office, a pharmacy and a Co-operative Stores. There is also a primary school, and a pub called The Three Bells. The civil parish of Hordle has a population of 5,746, and the village itself makes up for 1,157 of that number. The name Hordle first appears in the Domesday Book of 1086.
Hordle Village
