Join us for a fun filled workshop for beginners with The Touring Potter: We are a unique service offering an experience with something handmade to keep afterwards. We will guide and encourage you to create your pottery masterpieces. No experience needed! We then take your pieces back to our workshop to glaze and fire them in the kiln. We will then arrange a drop off time for your pieces with Forest Arts Centre.

Maisie Jones "The Touring Potter" Is a Dorset based cermicist. Who has been working with clay for 12 years. She trained in ceramics at The University of Brighton gaining a Ba Hons degree in 3D Design and Craft. Since completing her studies she has worked as a teacher, artisan maker and commercial manufacturer of ceramics. She has been running The Touring Potter a mobile pottery business for just over a year sharing her love for pottery with clients across the UK. This has included working with ceramic studios, schools, care homes, local businesses in hospitality and with groups and individuals in her home studio in Christchurch. She is highly creative and enthusiastic about her craft and will accommodate all levels of experience in her classes. She aims to make pottery something all can experience and enjoy.
