Focus on improving your photography
It was once said that the most important part of the camera is the twelve inches behind the viewfinder, so to begin your journey in photography it's important to familiarise yourself with the basics of your camera or mobile phone operation, such as understanding exposure, aperture, shutter speed, and ISO settings. Paul will explain how these elements interact and will help you take well-balanced and creative photos. Additionally, we will explore composition techniques like the rule of thirds, leading lines, and framing, which can greatly enhance the visual appeal of your images.
Paul French has over 40 years’ experience as a mentor and photographer, a member of the Professional Garden Photographer’s Association, Garden Media Guild, and Yachting Journalist’s Association. He will be offering practical workshops in a garden to follow this introduction.
