The Lymington Seafood Festival organisers are delighted to be able to welcome everyone back to Lymington Seafood Festival 2025
Heading into its 9th year the Lymington Seafood Festival is the south coast's ‘must visit’ boutique food festival.
Taking place on Friday 11th – Sunday 13th July it is crammed with over 100 different seafood dishes, a chef’s stage hosting the region’s best and a cookery school for foodies of all ages up for learning some new skills.
Set to stunning views across the Solent estuary, expect to sample scallops, lobster, local crab, mussels in various ways, cod cheeks, seafood tacos, mackerel, king crevettes, surf n’ turf as well as dishes from all over the world.
There’s plenty of open fire cooking with Nordic Flammlach salmon and a pop up restaurant with Great British Chef finalist Gavin Barnes serving up a feast of bream, John Dory and red mullet cooked over coals.
The Chefs Stage is hosted by TV foodie Chris Bavin with chefs from Carey's Manor, Chewton Glen, Lime Wood and The Pig as well as showcasing chefs from the best local restaurants.
Among others on Friday you'll meet Luke Holder from Lime Wood, Ben Puleo from Stanwell House; on Saturday Calum Jellicoe from Balmer Lawn, Luke Matthews from Chewton Glen and Dylan James from Cambium; on Sunday Songkiat Surim from Zen Gardens.
There’s an intimate Cookery School with classes for young budding chefs and grown-up food lovers. New for this year is a Masterclass Stage set to host wine tastings, cocktail making or sushi and Asian inspired masterclasses from local artisan producers.
Live music across the three days includes a Friday night Genesis and Phil Collins tribute band. The Decatonics return for some banging ska and reggae and head lining on Saturday evening are The Anthems playing hits from Razorlight, Snow Patrol, Artic Monkey’s and Muse. Grab a local craft beer, rum or gin and dance away to soul, blues, Motown, ska and heaps of pop and rock classics.
The historic town comes alive over the festival weekend and tickets sell like hot (fish) cakes.
