Join Dr Ken Collins and Jenny Mallinson for a one off talk.
They have been studying Studland's seagrass since 1990, lobbying the government for protection of its seagrass and seahorses from the damaging impacts of boat anchoring. Studland Bay was formally declared a Marine Conservation Zone in 2019. The Studland Bay Marine Partnership has raised £500,000 to install eco-moorings which do not impact the seagrass. This has allowed the seagrass to recover and they have seen a steady increase in the number of of its iconic seahorses. Learn more about this with Ken and Jenny!
