St Thomas Church is about to become a winter wonderland for three days with Christmas trees lit and decorated by sponsors. As well as the trees, there will be delicious, seasonal refreshments, Christmas stalls, and live music. Building on the success of last year - where we used the whole footprint of the church, hall and courtyard garden - we are extending the opening hours into the evening to exploit the magic of the winter darkness.
Please note that there are a few changes to the festival this year. It begins on Thursday and finishes on Saturday, with late opening on both Thursday and Friday evenings so visitors can enjoy the magic of the church and courtyard garden after dark.
It’s also a brilliant opportunity to support the church and tick a few things off your to-do list: the fully decorated, non–needle-drop trees on display are available to buy, ready for collection once the festival ends. You’re also warmly invited to begin your Christmas shopping at the extensive sales tables — and then relax with a hot drink and a slice of delicious homemade cake.
The music programme is as follows:
Thursday
Friday
Saturday
