Nov 29
This large community Christmas event takes place at the end of November/early December when there will be a forest of lit, decorated real Christmas trees filling the church – each sponsored by a local charity or business. Excellent refreshments will be available daily and there will be plenty of pre-loved Christmas decorations to purchase. Music will permeate the event with live groups playing a wide variety of seasonal tunes. There will be a new look to the event this year too, with more space, more food, more sales tables and more trees.
The church will be open during the Lymington Town Light Up on Friday, 29 November. Visitors will be free to wander around the trees.
If you would like to take part in this wonderful and uplifting activity either as a tree sponsor or a helper with the wide range of tasks that we will need to accomplish, then please get in touch with Daphne Johnston on 01590 673740.
All trees will be of the non-needle-drop Nordman variety, and we are inviting you to sponsor a tree and decorate it to your choice. Why not promote your business in this way?
If short of time, there is also the option to sponsor a tree but not to decorate it. These trees may be located in a special display in the courtyard garden.
Daily refreshments, live music, Christmas stalls, and concerts throughout will add to the festive atmosphere.
The Milford West Gallery Quire with Reeds In Harmony will be performing on Saturday, 30 November at 6.00pm. Tickets £10 from
Set-up on Wednesday, 27 November and Thursday, 28 November.
We do hope you will want to take part and help us to make this a truly wonderful Christmas celebration for the whole community of Lymington.
