Cyclexperience offers premium bike hire in the heart of the New Forest National Park; based in Brockenhurst train station car park on the mainline from London Waterloo. We only use the very best quality bikes, and they are always professionally serviced.
We have plenty of cycle routes available for you to choose from.
Our seaside ride takes you along quiet lanes, along the shoreline and back through the bustling town of Lymington.

Mountain bikes, e-bikes, comfy bikes, tag-along bikes, kids bikes, tandem bikes and trailer bikes are all available.
The closest trail is only 400 metres from the station so you can literally get off the train, get on your bike and be off into fabulous forest within a few minutes.
Equally, there is plenty of parking nearby.
We can also bring bikes to you where you're staying (or indeed where you live) if more convenient - just give us a call to discuss.

The back story
Cyclexperience started off in life in 1993 from a dilapidated stable building in Brockenhurst. With a £5000 loan from the Prince’s Trust, 35 bikes, a shoddy promotional leaflet and a telephone, New Forest Cycle Hire Centre was born!
Cyclexperience Ltd is now one of the most prominent and unique cycle businesses on the South Coast offering 4 retail shops stocking hundreds of cycles and accessories and first-class bike repairs from NVQ accredited technicians. We also have a fully integrated online shop, featuring thousands of product lines, as well as the biggest one-stop Cycle Hire shop in the New Forest. There are almost 200 models available from our 100ft wooden Cycle Shack in the overflow car park at the nearby Brockenhurst Rail Station.
In 2005, our popular cycle hire service bagged the runner-up award in the prestigious Tourism Excellence Awards where the business was nominated for Best Tourism Experience and in 2007 received a Highly Recommended acknowledgement from Tourism South East.
In 2009, we won a runner up award for the new Forest Brilliance in Business. We regularly feature in tabloid articles after various travel journalists have hired our bikes and had a favourable taste of the Forest experience.
The business is still family owned by Ross and Nikki, the original owners who obtained funding through the Prince’s Trust after being unemployed since graduating from Bournemouth University. Their philosophy is based on providing friendly service at a professional level with the emphasis on the leisure cycling market.
Living in the New Forest, they have a lot to do with local cycling issues and try to ensure our customers get the most out of their stay in the New Forest but at the same time, are mindful of the fragile nature of the forest ecology and the very sensitive conservation issues.

Cyclists are welcomed into the New Forest but it is important that bikes are only ridden on the 100 mile network of designated trails. If you want to deviate from these trails, then you either need a pair or hiking boots or running shoes! You can email Ross on the Contact Form if you are visiting the New Forest and want to find an interesting off-road running trail!
