About the Coral Star

She has quite a history!  She was built by Blackmores of Bideford in 1962 and is thought in her first incarnation to have been the Dart Princess. She was long time based in Paignton and then from 2005 to 2011 in Plymouth where she worked as one of the boats of the Mountbatten ferry service. After that she was owned by Greenway Ferries in Brixham, from whom the Andersons bought her. More about her history including some fabulous photos can be found on her website.

Coral Star scenic cruise to the Needles

The Coral Star also takes people down the Needles channel to see the Needles rocks. On the way she passes the finest scenery of the island. Hurst castle, Fort Albert, Totland Bay, Cowell Bay and Alum Bay. We sweep close inshore as we cruise by.  More details on the website. To whet your appetite watch the video!
