The Becton Centre is run by Southern Health NHS, where specialist geriatric consultants and memory nurses are based. Provides assessment and treatment for older people experiencing symptoms of dementia. Normally individuals are referred by their GP, however you may self refer if you prefer. More detailed tests are undertaken here, and if dementia is diagnosed a care plan is drawn up, which may include medication. This is then monitored over time.
