Meanwhile the versatile accommodation including ground floor bedroom and shower room and enormous upstairs sleeping “loft” is good for 2-6 humans for full weeks and up to 8 for short breaks!

The open west facing East Boldre vista has been compared by several visitors to Africa whilst a 2 minute stroll leads to Hatchet Pond where the tripods are regularly lined up in anticipation of the more spectacular sunsets.

Bartley Barn is a perfect base for miles of New Forest off road walking, running, cycling and horse riding from the front gate. Best of all for the hounds and pooches, the Turfcutters Arms which has to be one of the most dog friendly pubs in the New Forest is just 10 minutes walk.
