We are very proud of our school and all that it achieves. We are rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (June 2018) and our results are getting better and better. Our motto is, ‘Aspiration.Resilience.Respect and Responsibility.’ We want everyone in our school to be involved, having fun and doing their best in all they do.
SATS Results 2017 We are a busy and vibrant learning community on the edge of the New Forest. With 259 children on roll (ages 7-11) we pride ourselves on knowing each and every one of our children well and developing them to the best that they can be.
In June 2018 Ofsted rated us as a ‘Good’ school. They stated that Pupils really enjoy attending Ashley Junior School. They say it is a great place to learn. One pupil said, ‘Our school is always full of happy faces.’ They are consistently engaged in learning because teachers make it fun. They noted particularly that pupils work hard within their lessons and are happy to ‘have a go’ at new learning. They focus well in their calm purposeful classrooms and respond well to questioning and challenge.
