Shine Cancer Support fundraiser at The Fisherman's Rest

The Fisherman's Rest is holding a fundraising evening for Shine Cancer Support, with entertainment, a buffet and currrently over 60 prizes to be won in the raffle or auction. A charity close Moh and Jade's hearts, they've been working hard to arrange a fantastic evening with some money can't buy prizes.
Supporting younger adults with cancer
Cancer is rarer in rarer in people under 50 and, although any cancer experience will be difficult, it is easy to feel isolated when you can't find people in similar circumstances to you. Shine supports men and women in their 20s, 30s and 40s who are dealing with cancer, there mission is to provide tailored information and peer support. They do this through a range of activities including lunches and drinks evenings, beach walks, multi-day getaways, workshops, online networking, and mentoring. Find out more about Shine.
