The festival, celebrating its 10th anniversary, is renowned as one of the best independent food and drink festivals in the UK. The sponsorship will help organisers invest in new show content and champion the local hospitality industry.

Led by their flagship modern British restaurant, Cambium, their team of talented chefs will be taking the stage with cooking demonstrations. They will also be leading the judging of the ‘Big Careys Cook Off’ where budding amateur chefs battle it out in front of a packed audience.

In addition, Cambium Head Chef Dylan James will be creating a series of ‘mini masterclass videos’ offering his culinary tips.  There are plans to launch a special ‘festival menu’ in the weeks leading up to the event, showcasing some of the best local and seasonal seafood produce.

Commenting on Careys Manor Hotel’s sponsorship; festival director Richard Nowell said:

“We are delighted to welcome Careys Manor Hotel and their team to this year’s festival as sponsors of the Chefs Stage and Cookery School. With three restaurants covering British; Cambium, Thai; Zen Garden, and French dining from Le Blaireau they bring a fantastic mix of cuisines whist staying true to their New Forest roots.”

“The first ever Big Careys Cook Off was one of last year’s festival highlights and we are excited about opening entries in the coming weeks and see who will wow the judges. Investment from sponsors is vital in helping the Lymington Seafood Festival continue to flourish but it is also about partnering with businesses who are also passionate about the local area and the dining experience they offer.”
