Jean and I stayed again at our favourite Hampshire Country Hotel, mainly for a visit to my Mum's care home nearby, this time was a special occasion being her 93rd Birthday, but we look forward to a pleasant stress free time while we are here and are never dissapointed. The drive from Swansea can be stressful at times, on this occasion taking 5 1/2 hours. The staff are all friendly and helpful.

Booked four nights here but enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night. Although it's claim to fame may be it's location we were unable to get out much due to the weather and flooding. However what a place to be holed up in. Superbly comfortable and well appointed rooms and plenty of ultra comfortable public areas to relax in. Menu and food in general was superb as were the friendly staff.

Lovely hotel with very caring staff. Everything about the hotel was perfect and there was nothing to complain about. The rooms were lovely, recently decorated and the bed and showers were of a high standard. The temperature in the rooms was easily controlled and the shower facilities were excellent. We couldn't think of anything negative to say about the hotel.

Our repeat visit, usually twice every year for the past decade or so. Such a welcoming hotel. Warm and clean rooms even though outside was cold. Will definitely be back time and time again.

Excellent hotel. Large, spacious , well appointed rooms Very comfortable. Kind, friendly, accomodating staff. Excellent value for money. What's not to like?

Another great trip to South Lawn (second this year). Everyone is is si helpful and thoughtful especially with our dog Sophie who is recovering from her third operation on her foot. Cannot fault the hotel or staff. They even provided two of the warmest days of the year as a bonus. Already booked for end of March
