Giant pumpkin grown in Lymington by Paton brothers breaks UK record

This weekend saw the return of the Autumn Pumpkin Festival to Royal Victoria Country Park in Netley near the New Forest, hosted by the Jubilee Sailing Trust.

Another new record!

Lymington brothers, Stuart and Ian Paton, from Pinetops Nursery won the Heaviest Pumpkin category for another year, with their giant pumpkin weighing in at a massive 162 stone! This broke their previous UK record by 15lbs, set in 2016. The whopper of a pumpkin was grown under glass at their nursery in Lymington.
