Mayor Barry Dunning opens fitness area in woodside gardens
Lymingon's new outdoor gym is open
On Saturday 16th September, the Town Major, Barry Dunning, officially opened the new outdoor gym at Woodside Gardens.
Improve your fitness for free at Woodside Gardens
A new Outdoor Gym has been installed in Woodside Gardens and is now open for all to use free of charge. Lymington and Pennington Town Council have invested just under £20,000 in the project, led by Cllr Peter Allen.
The Outdoor Gym is situated adjacent to the tennis courts and consists of nine pieces of equipment, including:
- Combination pull down and chest press
- Combination pull down and seated bench press (for disabled use)
- Seated leg press
- Double rower
- Twist and step
- Push up and dip station
- Arm and pedal bike
- Parallel bars
In addition to this new equipment, two concrete table tennis tables are also soon to be installed at Woodside Gardens.
