Invitation to Open Day at In The Frame, Saturday 13 October 2018
On Saturday 13 October Karen would like to celebrate her “business birthday” with you.
All day on that Saturday Karen would love both loyal customers and new visitors to come in with ideas and suggestions - with or without items for framing. It’ll be a kind of live customer feedback forum throughout the day and the whole of the tight knit In The Frame Team will be there.
There will also be a little surprise to greet you!
Get your memories on the wall - where you can see them every day
One of Karen’s favourite messages is that paintings of special places, photographs from wonderful holidays and other memories in the form of medals or mementos are not a lot of good if hidden away in the loft or a box at the back of the wardrobe.. Holiday, heritage, family or friends, of recent occasions or times long past, if they’re framed and hung they can instead be treasured every day.
And what fabulous frames
It’s hard to imagine how much difference it can make when you employ a professional. Karen’s been involved in image creation all her working life, and the knowledge and skill she has amassed cannot be comprehended until you’ve tried out her services.
She will find a highlight mount colour which you might never have considered, together with an exquisite moulding and frame combination for the subject which is complementary to your style and the destination you have in mind.
Her amazing eye for colour, detail and overall impact combined with listening carefully to your requirements will transform your painting, photograph or memento into a work of art. With Karen’s help the whole is a whole lot greater than the sum of the parts!
Almost anything can be framed
And that’s Karen’s second mantra.
From papyrus and coins to certificates almost anything can be framed! The transformation from forgotten memorabilia gathering dust and taking up space in the loft to a piece of precious and unique artwork inspiring pride, memories and joy is priceless.
Karen particularly loves this aspect of her work and is amazingly skilled too at turning a set of photographs otherwise hidden away in an online folder or simply in a box in the cupboard, into a gorgeous montage depicting a real story, conjuring up not just one but many memories all at once.
Old photographs can look as good as new
In Karen’s skilled hands most damage can be repaired. The restoration of old and damaged photographs brings them back to “as new” condition - in fact sometimes even better! Customers are thrilled to see that spots and blemishes are magically removed, whilst faded and discoloured originals are enhanced to bring them back to their original quality.
Bespoke cards, beautiful views
In The Frame's in house professional digital printer produces art cards from original images by local artists. Cards are printed, cut and packed to your specifications and supplied in cellophane sleeves. Artist images can also be reproduced as art prints and canvas.
There's also a selection of local coastal and forest views, all photographs taken by Karen, which can be bought as large canvas images or framed prints.
All part of the service
Karen has been working in image creation since 1981, in all aspects of the imaging trades, including photography printing and framing. As such she is happy to advise on anything related to creating images. It's part of the service, part of what she believes to be doing the job.
“Thank you so much to our loyal customers, for helping us to achieve this milestone birthday of 10 years in business. Our passion for customer service is fundamental to our business philosophy and underpins everything we do. We’ve listened to our customers over the last ten years and acted upon what they’ve told us. They have then come back bringing us more work, and told their friends about us too. And that’s how our business has grown."
