Health and Wellbeing Events
Date: Monday, 25 November 00:00

Venue: The Natural Health Hub

Ally Brown

Ally is our new reflexologist. As a generous introductory gift, Ally is offering her reflexology treatments for just £25 through November and December. Oh, and she also offers facial reflexology!

Availability: Tuesday mornings

Passionate about health and wellbeing, Ally qualified as a therapeutic massage therapist in London 30 years ago and offers pregnancy massage and Indian Head Massage. After some health issues of her own which traditional medicine had not been able to improve, she turned to reflexology. After four sessions, her symptoms completely disappeared and she retrained, also in London, with the Association of Reflexologists. As a therapy, reflexology empowers the body to bring it back to its optimum state, ‘homestasis’ and can help improve many everyday conditions aswell as long-term chronic or debilitating illnesses. Incredibly relaxing and blissful, reflexology is a none-invasive ancient, natural therapy that works on the reflex points to all systems and organs on the feet, hands or face. Ally has boosted her Western training by travelling to India, Nepal, China and Tibet to visit either general hospitals, barefoot doctors or foothill health stops to gather more authentic treatment methods. She has been so rewarded to hear the benefits (both physically, emotionally and mentally) that her clients have noticed, many of whom return time after time, year after year. Ally also offers natural facial rejuvenation massage and facial reflexology (which has the added bonus or reducing fine lines and facial puffiness) and maternity reflexology to her expertise.

Reflexology is a holistic treatment that empowers the body to bring it back to its optimum state of ‘homeostasis’ or balance. It can help improve many everyday conditions as well as longterm chronic or debilitating illnesses. Incredibly relaxing and blissful, reflexology is a non-invasive ancient, natural therapy that works on the reflex points to all systems and organs on the feet, hands or face. Our therapist Ally Brown has been a reflexologist for almost 20 years and has been so rewarded to hear the benefits (physically, emotionally and mentally) that her clients have noticed, many of whom return time after time, year after year.

Reflexology is based on the principle that certain areas on the feet, hands and face are linked through the nervous system to corresponding parts of the body. There are 7,000 nerve endings in the human foot alone! By massaging and applying pressure to these reflexes you can stimulate a response and movement of energy along the nerve channels to restore homeostasis (a natural balance within the body). Systems and organs within the body naturally work together to heal and rejuvenate and reflexology will encourage the body into this natural healing state, bringing balance, promoting the natural elimination of toxins and invoking a sense of deep calm and relaxation. Stress, injury or illness can put immense pressure on the body and reflexology can help to bring back the natural balance and encourage the body to do what it naturally should do.

At The Hub Ally offers foot reflexologyfacial reflexology and pregnancy reflexology. Her natural facial rejuvenation reflexology has the added bonus, as well as being incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating, of reducing fine lines and facial puffiness. Ally is also, on request, available for pregnancy massage.
