Excited to announce a new yoga offering from Heart Yoga Living, starting after Easter, on Monday, 12th April 2021 at 18.00 (BST) and every Monday thereafter. All welcome.
This style of yoga is particularly useful for those with stiffness & tension in the joints (especially the hips, knees, shoulders & spine).
Our Yin Yoga classes last for one hour & have a specific anatomical focus for each class. Postures are selected to work on the target area and are typically held for a minimum of 3-5 minutes (using props, where appropriate), allowing us to find gentle release as we tackle the tight areas.
Due to the slower pace and meditative quality of the Yin practice, participants usually leave feeling calm & relaxed and, with regular attendance, discover they have greater range of motion for their daily activities.
