Hartford Wood is an ancient woodland on the Beaulieu Estate that has been under the management of the Countryside Education Trust since 1975. Management for the benefit of education and conservation gives this beautiful habitat an enchanting and special feel.
Join us for a guided morning walk to find out how to identify some of the classic broadleaf and conifer trees found here and get a close-up look at some of the special trees that feature on our tree trail.
The tour will be an easy walk with a little venturing off the path in order to get close to some trees. A sturdy pair of shoes, walking boots (or wellies if it’s very wet) would be advisable. Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions. We will be starting outside the Treehouse Study Centre.
We would suggest that this walk is suitable for those aged 10 and over. Unfortunately the route is not accessible for pushchairs or wheelchair users.

9-11am

Tickets: £6 - please book via the CET website at www.cet.org.uk/events
