Are you living with stress, pain or illness? Or would you just like to know more about mindfulness? We’re offering the ideal opportunity to learn all about and start practising mindfulness in our two taster sessions with Annie Davison

We often go through life on automatic pilot. Rarely do we stop to pay attention to what is going on around us. Mindfulness helps us to clearly see what is going on in our lives. Annie’s taster sessions are a great introduction to mindfulness for pain, illness, stress, depression and well-being.

Counsellor/psychotherapist Annie Davison, who is a mindfulness teacher with experience of teaching both the public and in schools, will look at what mindfulness is and discuss a few common misconceptions. There will be opportunities to experience some mindfulness practices such as mindful breathing.

By the end of the session you will have something to take away and use in daily life, and we can discuss what the next steps are by looking at the 8-week course Annie offers, as well as books and CDs that can help you further.

The Natural Health Hub is Lymington’s holistic health and well-being centre offering an extensive selection of complementary therapies. Services include counselling/psychotherapy, hypnotherapy/NLP, acupuncture, naturopathic nutrition, homeopathy, mindfulness, empowerment coaching, deep tissue massage, reflexology, ear candling and reiki, as well as pampering aromatherapy massages. Classes on offer are yoga, tai chi and qigong (chi kung). The Hub is a specialist centre for yoga, with all sorts of different classes (day and evening) for all levels of fitness and experience, including hatha, lunchtime vinyasa flow, ashtanga, yoga nigra, and yoga gold for older folk, those with injuries and anyone who wants a gentler class. The Hub holds a full calendar of talks/workshops on natural health and empowerment issues, not least ever-popular monthly sound baths. Book right away to avoid disappointment!
