A group of Lymington charity fundraisers will be kayaking around the Isle of Wight in September in aid of Cancer Research UK.
On Saturday 17th August at the Masonic Hall car park, 10 High Street, Lymington the paddlers will be seeing how many miles they can achieve in a day on a Kayak Training machine. This is a part of the training, but will give members of the public the opportunity to win one of a number of great prizes donated by local businesses, £5 a guess.
Some of the prizes on offer include an Americas Cup poster signed by Sir Ben Ainslie, a green gecko hand crafted in metal by Michael Turner, a £50 travel voucher from Wightlink, Deluxe cream tea for 2 at Stanwell House Hotel, meal vouchers from Greedos and The Ship Inn and more.
Just to add to the fun there will be a second kayak training machine for anyone to have a go and see how hard it is!
We call ourselves the Musketeers and over the last few years have riden old motorcycles round the coast of England, Scotland and Wales, skydived, cycled round the IOW in superhero costumes ....... in fact have a look at our website and see what we have done and how much we have raised. www.themusketeers.co.uk/
Come along and meet the Kayakers and get involved in the fun. You could win a first class prize
If you can't make it then visit the website where you can support us with a donation to Cancer Research UK and email us with a guess in the competition
