Lymington's Sports Ground Pavilion opened by Mayor.

Newly refurbished home of Lymington Cricket Club and Lymington Town Football Club completed.

Mayor opens pavilionLymington Sports Ground Pavilion was officially opened on the 22nd September by the Town Mayor, Barry Dunning, with representatives from both Lymington Town Football Club and Lymington Cricket Club in attendance.

The works were carried out for Lymington and Pennington Town Council by HH Drew, who worked hard with both clubs to see this project through to completion. Both Lymington Town Football Club and Lymington Cricket Club will benefit enormously from its refurbishment.

An total investment of £350,000 was spent in bringing this building up to a modern standard, with new changing and toilet facilities, bar, kitchen and exterior. This project was funded by contributions from the Football Foundation (Football Stadia Improvement Fund), the English and Welsh Cricket Board (EWCB), New Forest District Council S106 Fund and Lymington and Pennington Town Council.
