Images of glorious nature at Exbury, August and September
A top class exhibition of photographs from both professionals and amateurs runs until mid-September at Exbury.
Natural Britain Through the Lens shows the photographers’ angle on birds, wildlife, flowers, landscapes and seascapes, in a stunning range of pictures displayed in the Gardens’ Five Arrows Gallery.
Many of the prints are for sale. More than 30 photographers are taking part, many members of the Southampton Camera Club and the Royal Photographic Society.
Organiser Anne Middleton is delighted with the group she has put together for the show: “Many of the photographers will be on hand to talk to visitors about their work, which is first rate. This will be a wonderful show featuring the beauty of Britain. As well as framed photographs there will be prints and cards for sale,” she said.
The exhibition is open until 4.30pm daily until mid-September. Admission is free to all who pay to come into the Gardens.
Exbury Gardens are open daily until 11 November from 10am-5.30pm (or dusk in November).
