Lymington Fashion Show 2006

The Lymington Fashion Show in aid of Naomi House Children's Hospice

Wednesday 28th June 2006 will hopefully be long remembered as a date when something rather special happened in Lymington. Inspired and organised by the effervescent Liese Cairnes of The Sports Bra Company, some of the town's best known retail fashion outlets including; Jaeger, POD, Esprit, Yachtmail, Neat, Basking Cod, Booty Boutique, Quay Point & The Sports Bra Company showed up in aid of Naomi House Children's Hospice to present their latest collections at Elmer's Court.

The evening was one of those stunning english hot ones which blessed the event with a suitable golden hue and set the scene for a sold out evening attended by a cross section of Lymington's finest and dandiest. That sweeping lawn from the back of Elmer's down to perhaps the best Solent view available was so perfect for the occasion and with South Coast Marquees providing such a funky backdrop, Buchannan Events the stage alongside Red Herring delivering their usual quality of catering, everyone backstage and front of house shared a truly spectacular occasion and for such an incredible cause.

There was something truly magical about the fact that all the models were amateurs right across the age spectrum, who all and without exception threw themselves into the event with unreserved enthusiasm and professionalism. The clothing ranged from the elegant to the outrageous and the downright sexy and the whole evening was choreographed to absolute perfection.
