Bartley Marketing is a virtual marketing agency based in the New Forest near Lymington, which brings together a team of experienced marketing specialists.

We have online and traditional marketing expertise, which we combine to bring powerful results to a broad range of businesses, big and small. We integrate all forms of marketing, including consultancy, planning and strategy; websites and SEO; online marketing (organic, paid and social); promotions and events; targeted direct communications; copywriting; photography; graphic design; PR; branding and advertising.


Tanya Baddeley and Jane Porter are the marketing consultants with many years of traditional marketing experience across a multitude of industries. We bring in the expertise and additional resources of the other members of our team as required, for example, social media management, SEO consultancy, graphic design etc.


Bartley Marketing has built its own online media channel, the community website It’s Lymington’s online hub used by an increasing number local people on a regular basis to check what’s on, where to stay, things to do, jobs, etc: “Your Local Link”.


The website itself receives upwards of 13,000 monthly visits - and it’s growing: August 2016 received treble the number of visitors received in August 2015. Together with its new (introduced spring 2016) weekly newsletter to 4,000 subscribers and its social media channels (6,500 Facebook, 3,000 Twitter and also now reaching out on Instagram), promotes and champions local businesses to 30-50,000 people monthly (the exact figure fluctuates with the reach of our Facebook posts which varies month to month).


The Bartley Marketing team spends a large proportion of its time working out ever more effective and efficient ways to use and its channels to really actively promote our local business customers. All this makes us uniquely placed to help local businesses to make the most of every penny of their marketing budgets. promoting and championing local business

Jane Porter

Jane PorterJane Porter spent a number of her early career years in London, in corporate marketing departments and advertising agencies including owning her own direct marketing agency in the 90’s.  She moved with her husband to East Boldre in the New Forest 18 years ago to bring up their two sons, and more recently established Bartley Marketing as a local marketing services company focussed towards the needs of small businesses.  As the age of the internet has evolved she has helped her clients to develop both online and offline marketing strategies, and has built up a local network of associates to provide design, website development and specialist online marketing skills.
Jane is thrilled to combine her passions for marketing and the New Forest in taking on the ownership and management of

Tanya Baddeley

Tanya has over twenty years of commercial marketing, strategic marketing and project management experience. Having worked in a large multinational organisation and also with small and medium-sized businesses on a wide variety of integrated marketing communications projects, she understands the reality of day-to-day pressures and resource constraints. Tanya is committed to helping businesses achieve results, gaining more exposure and growth, through smart, creative marketing and PR. She brings clarity and direction through robust marketing planning and writes captivating copy for social media, PR, advertising, websites, prospect relationship marketing and communications campaigns.

Sally Kavanagh

Sally KavanaghSally has worked for herself for over 25 years and understands the challenges and rewards of being your own boss.  She started her career in science research but quickly moved to technical journalism and then to marketing.  By 2000 the internet was firmly established as a force to be reckoned with as a business marketing tool and so Sally decided to develop her skills into search engine optimisation (SEO) and more recently into the increasingly important area of Web Analytics. She is a strong believer in the power of the internet marketing and communications but also in using the information a website can provide in terms of its stats to drive a business’s overall marketing strategy forward.

In addition to working for clients locally and along the M25, Sally also runs an online SEO training course.

Sally has lived in the New Forest for the last 10 years, in Ringwood and now in Lymington, and before that was in Yarmouth for 10 years.  She has two grown up sons.

Rebecca Wade

Rebecca is a valued member of the Bartley Marketing team and our social media expert. She not only manages the social media platform, but also the social media accounts of many Bartley Marketing clients. Rebecca also owns Purple Dog, working with small to medium businesses in social media marketing and provides training to ensure businesses make the most of their online marketing.
