Henri Lloyd opens new sailing store in Salcombe

HENRI LLOYD OPENS NEW SAILING STORE IN SALCOMBE

Henri Lloyd officially opened their latest Henri Lloyd Sailing Store in Salcombe, on the 1st December 2007.

The 523 sq foot store located on Fore Street is the Henri Lloyd fifth Sailing Store and follows successful openings in Lymington, Falmouth, Weymouth and Cowes, part of a continued programme to roll out the Henri Lloyd sailing store concept and complement the city centre stores in Manchester and our flagship store in Carnaby St, London.

Henri Lloyd also has stores in Paris (France), Helsinki (Finland), Sydney (Australia), and Krakow (Poland).

The Salcombe store offers Henri Lloyd’s marine, lifestyle and footwear collections and ensures that Henri Lloyd has a strong distribution channel in the South West of England whilst supporting existing distributors in and around Devon. Henri Lloyd targeted Salcombe as it is a thriving area with many new businesses and a popular holiday and sailing destination. The location also enables Henri Lloyd to become more involved with the local community and sailing fraternity around Salcombe and Plymouth.

Graham Allen, Commercial Director, Henri Lloyd comments: “We are thrilled to be opening our latest Henri Lloyd Sailing Store in Salcombe – which boasts one of the most popular sailing communities of Devon, a key objective for us is to continue to deepen the consumer’s understanding of both our unique heritage and product ranges, and the Henri Lloyd Sailing Store concept is able to portray the real essence of the brand”
