Henri Lloyd & Dee Caffari partner up for Vendee Globe campaign

Specialist marine clothing brand Henri Lloyd is delighted to announce their association with Dee Caffari (left) as Technical Clothing partner for her Aviva Ocean Racing campaign culminating with her entry into the 2008/9 Vendée Globe.

Dee and her team will be wearing Henri Lloyd’s technical marine clothing range during her preparation for and whilst competing in the Vendee Globe race, which starts in November 2008.

To ensure that Dee will be completely prepared for her attempt to become the first woman to sail both ways around the world, Henri Lloyd and Dee have been working closely together to ensure that her technical clothing requirements have been met, including the design of bespoke technical products for her.

Henri Lloyd has over 40 years experience in the manufacture of technical marine clothing, and prides themselves on their innovative designs and use of pioneering fabrics.

Dee was racing onboard the Farr 45, Henri Lloyd – Cutting Edge today, which is also Champagne G.H. Mumm Ladies Day. At the start of racing today, Henri Lloyd – Cutting Edge are currently joint leaders in IRM and also first Farr 45.
