Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Release in Lymington

It was an evening of excitement and anticipation as the Waterstone's store in Lymington was preparing for the rush of Harry Potter fans, eager to get their hands on the final book of the series.

The launch of the book was due at one minute past midnight, but by 11:40pm, there was already a large group of people standing in line inside and outside the store, all expressing their desires for the book.

Many hardcore fans donned costumes of their favourite characters. Surprisingly, there seemed to be more witches, and Bellatrix Lestrange's than Harrys, Rons or Hermiones! The staff were getting in on the action as well, donning their own costumes. There was a Death-Eater wandering around as well...

The final ten seconds came, and everybody was joined in unison in counting down to the launch. A large applause could be heard over the entire shop as the staff started the grueling process of handing out everyone's orders.

Many fans were not shy about showing their excitement about getting the final book. Many were jumping around, others were screaming, but all had big smiles on their faces. Not surprising that many people tried to sneak a peak at the last few pages to see what would happen. Don't worry, there are no spoilers here! Some of the lucky ones were privileged enough to get a free copy of "A Guide to Wizards of the World".

The staff did a fantastic job dealing with all the customers, and handing out the books and audio book CDs. The distributing went so well, that even though the shop was full, and people were still queuing outside, they managed to get through the entire crowd in less than half an hour.

It is sad to think that there is a possibility that we will not have an event like this again for a while, unless J.K is willing to come up with something equally inspiring.

One can only hope...
