All around the Farm are examples of the usual farm animals you would expect to see as well as some less common creatures. Our animals’ welfare is of paramount importance to us. They are happy, very friendly and are looking forward to meeting you.
There are several indoor play areas - the one adjacent to the party room was custom-built by House of Play, to suit younger children. It has a ball pool, chute, climbing frame and "squeezy tubes" - great fun!! There is seating for adults who can supervise their charges in comfort.
The barn near the goat pens has no fewer than eight trampolines, for different age groups - under 3 years, under 10 years and under 90 years! Each has netting on the sides so that children cannot fall off. It is essential that every child using the trampolines is supervised by an accompanying adult, to avoid accidents.
For the smallest children, we have a large sand pit, which is almost like being at the beach! Next door to that is the BRIO room where little ones can try out the full range of BRIO toys, while mums and dads can have a seat.
Our newest play area is a barn full of straw bales on which children can clamber, with a swing and chute. This is located in what used to be the collecting yard near the milking parlour.
In the outdoor play area there are swings, a see saw, climbing wall and a tunnel, all with bark chippings to allow for soft landings, and plenty of space for ball games and running around. This area sometimes has to be closed if we have had heavy rain, as it gets very boggy and slippery.
Also outside are pedal tractors for very young tots, go karts for older children and motorised coin-operated vehicles on a specially designed track.

At the heart of the park is the Visitor Centre, an 18th century timber barn, which houses Seasons Restaurant, The Country Shop, exhibition area and hosts music evenings throughout the year.
Just a few minutes walk from the Visitor Centre is the Adventure Play Area for older children and a special Castle and Sand Area for toddlers. From the play areas we cross the picnic area to the picturesque Moors Lake alongside which runs the narrow-gauge steam railway that will take you on a mile long journey through the park.
An 18-hole golf course, meadows, small woodlands and the Crane Lake complete the Park area.
Heading out into the Forest there is the Play Trail with its 8 wooden play structures including the ‘Giant Ants’ Nest’, ‘Snakes and Ladders’ and the ‘Spiders Web’. There is also the opportunity to walk on the Tree Top Trail – a 200 metre wooden walkway through the tops of the trees. For the more adventurous there is the Go Ape! high wire adventure course.
Throughout Moors Valley there are miles of footpaths to enjoy including waymarked walks and cycle trails – cycle hire is available.
