ADVICE FROM LYMINGTON DOT COM:
If you are visiting the New Forest Show, then however attached to your car you are, we would strongly urge you to avail yourselves of the bus facility from Brockenhurst train station. It's not just about the queues to get in and out on the roads, but also the bottleneck effect of single entrance car parks to any similar event. Trust us when we say that most of the reallly smart locals wouldn't dream of turning up in their fancy 4x4's. They're much more likely to be sitting on the bus, going against the traffic and smirking knowingly at all the townies who've taken their 'Rovers to see some real mud! (and hours and hours of tarmac to boot...) ...just trying to be helpful. ;-)
