Flower Arranging Opportunities at The New Forest Show

The Flower Arrangement Section of the New Forest & Hampshire County Show is designed especially  to encourage everyone whether professional, amateur or just a beginner to take part and enjoy meeting a whole range of other flower enthusiasts.

This year’s schedule has some exciting titles that will appeal to both existing and new exhibitors and will no doubt generate even more interest to enter this prestigious Show. The Petite this year is called The Secrets of the Forest, so you can allow your imagination to run wild, nothing is considered to outrageous!

For the Novice class the subject is a Beach Scene to remind you of all those Sunny Days! Other classes include ‘Canvas, Wood and String’, ‘Climate Change’, and ‘In a Mood’ and for the more adventurous you can enter the section called ‘Fun with Textures, ‘Dare to be Different for the pedestal exhibit or if you belong to a club, up to three of you can stage the ‘Dream World’ exhibit – so much to choose from and so many ways to let your artistic talent soar away!

New for 2008 we have introduced an Exhibition Class, that will be produced by some of our Contemporary Classes in Wessex and Jersey. All will be revealed on the Show Days.

Pat Wyeth the Chairman of this section welcomes everyone who has an interest in Flowers, to come and take part. It is a very friendly Show and a great opportunity to meet up and share ideas and tips with fellow enthusiasts, and if you enter two or more classes you will be eligible for a free entrance ticket to the Show.
