Goodall's Strawberries

Lymington’s very own ‘Strawberry Fields’ – The very best PICK YOUR OWN!

Goodall’s Strawberries of Lymington is opening on May 1st 2010 to mid/ late July for pick your own.  As well as strawberries they have raspberries, blueberries, new potatoes, flowers and broad beans and soon cherries too. Open 9am to 5pm everyday. Find the grounds opposite Elmers Court, next to Walhampton golf course. Call 07967 344008 to find out what’s in season.

As of 1st May, you can pick beautiful sweet strawberries (that have been grown on this plot for 3 generations) at Goodall’s Pick Your Own Farm.  Don’t worry if it is raining, you can pick your strawberries in the dry in covered tunnels – so there is no excuse!  Forget the supermarket perfect sized tasteless varieties; go straight to Goodall’s where you will find great local different shape and size strawberries the way nature intended.

You will also be able to buy (to go with your strawberries) New Forest Ice Cream and you can even get a cup of tea through the hedge at Walhampton Golf Club!

If you don’t wish to pick your own, you can buy the strawberries already picked for you – however if you need a large quantity for a function or large family gathering, please do call ahead and place your order on 07967 344008.

The entrance is located opposite Elmers Court Hotel, next to Walhampton Golf Club/ Isle of Wight overflow car park and parking is free!

PS:  If you are making this a family outing as well as being able to buy ice cream and a cup of tea there are also toilet facilities available too.
