New Forest Business Partnership

The New Forest Business Partnership (NFBP) was established in 2002 with the aims of improving relations between commercial organisations and local government; promoting better business-to-business relationships; building a stronger economy and bringing greater prosperity to the local community.

Now with a membership base of around 400 companies, the partnership acts as a forum for local business people to express their views, share their knowledge and experience, network with potential clients and suppliers, and help make changes that will benefit their business.

To date the Partnership has hosted successful ICT conferences, influenced the Council's procurement strategy and established a busy, interactive website that provides valuable information and services to our members. Now well established, the Partnership looks forward to continuing to provide members with opportunities to maximise the benefits of belonging to the Partnership.

This year, the Partnership launches its second ‘Brilliance in Business Awards’. These awards will recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievement of businesses operating in the New Forest. Awards will be made across the following five categories:

The ExxonMobil Award for Innovation & Entrepreneurship
NFDC Award for Outstanding Customer service
The Hampshire County Council Award for Contribution to the Community
The Brockenhurst College Award for Training and Development
The New Forest Produce Ltd. Award for Best Use of Local Resources
The HSBC Award for the best new business

The overall NFBP Business of the Year Award will be selected from the winners of the above categories. Entry forms can be completed on the NFBP website. Applications can be submitted between before 2nd November 2007.
