Lymington Dot Com have recently heard that the beautiful ranges of Planet and Jacques Vert are opening a concession within the Elliots store in Lymington High Street on Tuesday 18th September. At present there is little more information though watch this space because we will be sure to provide as much information as possible as soon as it hits us! In the meantime follow below to read what the Planet and Jacques Vert designers have in store for us this Autumn/Winter and prepare for when its hits our High Street! HM

The Planet Autumn Winter 2007 collection makes a bold statement this season with vibrant prints and strong colours to create a fun yet sophisticated wardrobe. Vivid block colours such as purple, fuschia pink, lime green and aqua are accented with hues of black, white and chocolate brown for a refined feel.

Retro inspired prints contrast with a monochrome palette in the demi couture collection. Choose the fuschia and green 70’s inspired print day dress for a look that is chic and contemporary and which can be teamed with a matching scarf or clasp purse bag for maximum impact. Whilst the Soho Club collection showcases a vibrant blue and green floral print coat which is must have piece for the Autumn wardrobe and is sure to brighten up any dreary day and leave the wearer feeling joyous and confident.

Classic tailoring can be seen in suiting and more formal separates and Planet have designed

a range of jackets in a range of both short and long lengths to suite every figure. The definitive trouser suit is shown in Planet’s workwear collection in a variety of fabrics and styles. For a classic suit with a twist choose the pink pinstripe tailored jacket and team with a great pair of co-ordinated or black trousers. Alternatively the pencil skirt suit is a wardrobe staple for a modern work look and this too comes in pink or aqua pinstripe.

Glamourous evening dressing is provided and is inspired by the Hollywood Glamour of the the 1940’s. Delicately beaded dresses with complimentary accessories are oppulent in design and feel. To feel extra special the ‘shaky shaker’ dress with hand beaded tassles in black, silver and purple is guaranteed to turn heads, and when complimented by a luxurious faux fur bolero creates a true ‘glamazon’ look.

Jacques Vert’s Autumn/Winter 2007 collection offers both stylish occasion wear and relaxed day wear with its range of signature looks and versatile separates. A wide palette of Autumnal colours such as Rust, Plum, Copper, Moss and Birch offer choice and variety while stylish floral prints dominate.

Jacques Vert gives a modern twist to the collection with the introduction of new, more contemporary shapes and fabrics including jersey and knitwear separates which make classic daywear choices.

A new shape this season is the tunic. The stylish Sabrina tunic is worn with wide leg trousers and offers a variation to the traditional dress and jacket combination for a truly elegant look. Alternatively, luxurious swing jackets in Blackcurrant with Crystal embroidery and hand-sewn buttons are a highlight, while exquisite beaded dresses have handkerchief hems and soft delicate feminine sleeves.

From the classic rain coat and duffle to the cape and the long red riding coat, Jacques Vert has a range of coats to complement the winter wardrobe. The long Champagne coat in wool with a faux fur trim offers the ultimate in luxury while a range of day coats offer stylish solution for more relaxed dressing.

Accessories too are updated and the cigarette style bag debuts this season and adds an elegant twist to any outfit. For extra glamour, fascinators and hats have been designed to carefully chosen colours to pick up and highlight the detail in any outfit. Similarly, the classic sling back shoe has been redesigned with a lower heel for dancing and crafted from the finest soft Italian leather.
