Listed below is our programme of adult sessions on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout the summer. We are restricted to a maximum of 10 places so please book in advance to avoid disappointment. All sessions are “have a go/taster” workshops and cost £10.00 per person.

They are designed to be fun, creative and relaxing. Please feel free to bring your own refreshments.

Why not book as a group for a birthday, or a work, church or other group social?

N.B. prices may be different for one-off events or children’s workshops and all dates are subject to change at short notice.

BEADS-A-LOOMING 7.30 - 9.30pm

All you need for this one is a keen eye!
Have a go using an Indian bead loom to create beautiful pieces of jewellery. Alternatively, develop your pattern-following skills with one of our other seed bead crafts.

WOOLLY WOMEN 7.30 - 9.30pm

An evening of fun with wool and all things woolly. Pom-poms, mesh-weaving, needle-felt appliqué and more. Simple but strangely therapeutic. N.B. you will need to bring something made of fabric or wool if you wish to try needle-felt.

HOT WAX 7.30 - 9.30pm

Armed with a special iron, coloured wax and a piece of card you can create a masterpiece that can never be repeated! If you can iron a shirt then you already have the skills required. Let your imagination run wild!

DECOPATCH 7.30 - 9.30pm

Can you remember making things with papier-mâché and then decorating them with glued on pieces of coloured tissue paper? Decopatch works on the same principle but in a new and funky way. Bring along something of your own to decorate (nothing stretchy or made of fabric) or use one of our pre-made forms, then choose from one of our great Decopatch papers.
The sky’s the limit – plates, cups, vases, wooden spoons, picture frames, boxes, lamp bases…Completed items will be water resistant and have a glazed finish.

CRAFTY CARDS 7.30 - 9.30pm

Everyone has something “on the cards” that requires a card! Birthdays, Weddings, Get Well, New Baby ….Come and have a go using our interesting variety of bits and bobs. Perhaps discover a new talent for tea bag folding or decoupage.
