NEW  AFFORDABLE ‘CENTRE OF HEALTHCARE EXCELLENCE’ LAUNCHES FOR ADDICTION AND DEPRESSION TREATMENT

The Manor Clinic Healthcare Group has launched the UK’s first affordable ‘Centre of Healthcare Excellence’ in Hampshire for the treatment of alcohol addiction and depression. Located near Southampton Airport and set within a luxurious hotel ambiance, treatment fees at the centre are 43% less than other major service providers.

The Clinic is run by a group of experienced professionals including former head of the addictions treatment programme at the Priory, David Nott. He comments: “We’ve identified a clear market opportunity for an affordable individually-tailored treatment programme which is more accessible to those suffering from addiction or depression. We will be offering the highest levels of patient treatment and care by a group of highly skilled individuals in a therapeutic environment.”

The centre will offer a variety of programmes such as one on one assesemnents, family support and 12 month weekly aftercare.

The clinical and therapeutic team, all of whom have extensive knowledge are lead by John Platt, who lectures in Addiction Psychology and CounsellingCounseling at the London Southbank University.  Previously the owner of the renowned Westover Hall Hotel, Stewart Mechem has now combined his natural style and experience in catering for more discerning Clients with his understanding of the pressures attached to areas like depression and addiction and brings his marketing finesse and connections to the table as well. The elegant 18th Century Manor House with a linked converted stable block, has 15 en-suite bedrooms which have been thoughtfully styled and decorated with a relaxing blend of warm natural tones to provide the necessary treatment atmosphere.

The centre opened on Tuesday 12th June at 12.00pm.
