Ed's Comment:

When I visited Leyland as this month's featured B&B the first thing that struck me as an ex 'towny', was that were I still living in the Capital and wanted to show off to a new Partner, a weekend at Leyland in Lymington would be high on my list. The atmosphere is relaxed but cosmopolitan and cool, and the decor is first class. The location along side the river is superb and just far enough away to feel like you're in the countryside, but close enough to stagger home (or stroll romantically of course) from the restaurants in town. Ahh the good ol' days....I envy you!

Robin and Liese Cairnes invite you to spend a sumptuous night in their highly contemporary, beautifully designed country property, set in total privacy and in the National park yet within walking distance of Lymington. You have the choice of 3 stunning double bedrooms

The Purple Room:

Large double room with en-suite shower overlooking front lawn with views over the fields from the bathroom. A 5 ft double bed with a wardrobe, sofa, hair dryer, t.v. and tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom has a white double shower, wall hung loo, large white sink with a mirror, a towel rail to warm towels and toiletries.

The Gold Room:

An exquisite double bay room which faces south and east over the front garden with a large separate private bathroom with shower and bath. A 5 ft double bed with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers, mirrors an occasional chair, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. The private bathroom has a steel white bath, wall hung loo, large white sink, a double shower with a towel rail to warm your towels and toiletries.

The White Room:

A huge double bay room with balcanette facing west with rural views. A luxury en-suite white bathroom with 'his' and 'her' sinks, bath, shower and towel rail to warm towels and includes toiletries and finished to the highest standard . A 5 ft double bed, a dressing table, chest of drawers, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and bedside tables with lamps.

Breakfast:

You can chose from a Full English breakfast or a continental, whichever you prefer. If you have any special dietary requirements please inform us when booking and we will be delighted to accommodate you where possible.
A newspaper can be ordered if you require one.
